About Micaela
Micaela is a member of the Class of 2018 at Elon University. She majors in English with a concentration in Professional Writing and Rhetoric as well as minors in Communications and International Studies. Throughout her time at Elon, she has been sister of the Sigma Kappa Sorority and was inducted into the English honor society Sigma Tau Delta in the fall of 2016. She has worked as a copy editor for the school newspaper, The Pendulum, and as a consultant at the Center for Writing Excellence. She is also in the Periclean Scholars Class of 2018, which is an cohort of students dedicated to creating and implementing a sustainable project in a community in Zambia.

In her free time Micaela enjoys getting lost in a good book, discovering new music with friends and playing with other people's dogs. In the future she ultimately hopes to end up as an editor or book agent at a big city publishing firm. Or possibly writing creative content while traveling the world.
